Connect with event software

Because Welley supports ActivityPub Events, it can connect to event services such as Mobilizon.

  • Welley reads remote Event objects instead of treating every event as an ordinary post.
  • Welley handles supported variations in event data from other servers.
  • Standard iCalendar exports are another way to connect with calendar software.

This compatibility comes from shared standards. Specific Mobilizon workflows, group permissions and invitation flows can work differently.

For a public event, people can say they're interested or that they're going. The page counts both.
