Turn comments on or off

Switch comments off when a post doesn't need replies.

  • The composer has an option to allow comments.
  • You can turn comments on or off later from the post's actions.

This is separate from who can see the post. Other Fediverse apps may show the reply restriction differently.

The audience menu sets who can see a post and whether people can comment on it.
From the author menu you can edit a post, open its edit and activity history, turn comments off or delete the post.
