How your server federates

Closed federation

Run your server with federation turned off.

  • Closed mode stops normal inbound and outbound ActivityPub traffic.
  • Your server's local features and the administrative APIs still work.
  • Access to the Welley Help group has its own setting.
The Access tab shows the closed federation option and what it means. This choice isn't saved.
