# Photos, videos and attachments

Add media to a post and open it in the media viewer.

-   Upload media or paste it from your clipboard into the composer.
-   The viewer shows image galleries and plays videos.

Your server sets the file types, file sizes and upload limits.

The new post form keeps the media, emoji, poll, content warning and location controls together. The picker for who sees the post and the Post button are at the bottom.

A post can include a video that plays right in the post. This one is a short screen recording of the Welley appearance settings.
