# Copy or cancel an event

Copy an event for a new occasion, or clearly mark it as canceled.

-   Copy as new reuses the details and safely copies the cover image.
-   The organizer can edit or cancel an event as long as they still have access.
-   Canceled events show a grayscale cover on their cards and details.

Recurring events aren't available. Copy as new creates a separate event.

From the organizer menu you can delete an event, copy it as a new one or download it as an iCalendar file.

The organizer confirms the cancellation. A canceled event stays visible with a gray cover.
