Apps

# Built from apps

Everything you see in Welley on the web is an app: your feed, messages, groups, events, settings, even chess. That's what makes it possible to build new apps and share them.

## How it works

Each part of Welley on the web is its own small app. The apps fit together in one window, so it all feels like one place.

Each tile is a separate app.

## Apps in groups

Group admins can already add apps from a catalog. Chess is one of them: two members play, and everyone else can watch and chat.

Two members of the Riverside Garden group play a game of chess. The players and comments are next to the board.

A group can install eligible apps, such as Chess, next to its built-in feed, forum and events. Support for a wider range of custom apps is planned.

## Coming soon

We're working on a set of productivity apps that groups can install. After that, you'll be able to build your own apps and share them.
